Written is a stray dog roleplay for writers of all levels. Our story takes place in a small town in the heart of the Great Plains. We are as realistic as possible, and our characters face the same challenges as real strays do. Searching for food, love, and survival are all components of the plot. Please feel free to roam around and read up. We also take affiliates and advertisements in the sharing the world section. The set up of the forum is simple and to the point, and still going through the process of becoming established. We hope to see you soon & welcome to the site!

FEBRUARY ELEVENTH, 2011 | Wahoo! I managed to change pretty much everything on the entire board, I think. There are a few tweaks that will need to be made but for the most part it is all done. This is the result of having two weeks of snow days. =D The rules & plot have changed, so members if you could skim over those I'd appreciate that. This is where owners may put up their characters for adoption. They may also ask to have a character placed in the lay me to rest sub-board if they wish for the dog to no longer be used.
Surrounded by endless fields of corn and wheat, our town sits in the middle of the Plains. The population hovers around a little under one thousand, and there are many places for the strays to find food and shelter.
Rows of corn, wheat, and other crops make up the outskirts of the town. There are also a few landmark buildings and homesteads. Wildlife is virtually untouched here, so strays beware.
Five miles north of town marks the beginning of the Mid-West game reserve. There are lots of deer, turkey, elk, and coyotes here, along with the occasional wolf. Dogs can easily slip through the barbed wire fences, but entering too far into the land is dangerous.
Sparkling dark, navy blue, this body of water is the best place to be during the summer. On its shores is a thin fringe of forest, which is closed for wildlife only in some parts. There is a small RV park on the north end complete with a marina and boat ramp. Winter and Autumn are the only times when the lake is less than populated.
